杨华有一幅拼图，是他从缅甸带回来的，通体镀金，价格不菲。
他把这幅拼图看得比生命还重要，从来都不让任何人碰，他还在放拼图的那个柜子上挂了一把大锁。
妻子刘如筠对他的这种做法很不以为然：“不就是个破拼图吗？神气什么！”虽然嘴上这么说但实际上她从来没有违背过杨华的意愿去动那幅拼图。
“百密一疏”——用这个词来形容杨华是再合适不过的了。这天晚上，杨华像往常一样打开柜子来确定拼图是否完好。忽然，手机铃声响了。他接完电话就出去了，是公司的财务部主任打来的，让他去确认一笔账目。
匆忙之中，他忘记了锁柜子的门。
刘如筠下班一回家就看见了半开着的柜子门，露着一角的拼图盒像潘多拉宝盒一样诱惑着她的眼睛。

她刚才分明看见拼图上的杨华对她微微一笑！
那笑很邪恶。
她几乎是用了将近两个钟头的时间才把一地的拼图慢慢复原。
不对，没有复原。拼图上还缺了三块！分别是杨华的鼻子，膝盖还有胸口的一块。
她胆战心惊地将盒子放回原位。
快十二点的时候杨华回来了，面容显得很憔悴，但是仍然一进门就向柜子那里走去，“哐啷”一声，他用那把大锁锁上了柜子。
夜晚很快降临，刘如筠躺在床上。她还没有睡，一双眼睛黑亮黑亮的，身旁是杨华平缓的呼吸声，不知怎么的她总有一种怪怪的感觉，这种感觉非常不祥。
渐渐地，一阵困意像海浪一样把她淹没了。
耳边传来的是小鸟欢快的叫声，刺眼的阳光照在刘如筠的脸上，天亮了，该起床去上班了。她伸了伸懒腰。等等！什么东西？她感觉自己的左手好像碰到了什么，冰冰的。她向左边看去。
